Seth Freedman: (…) by absolving Hamas of any modicum of responsibility for their own war crimes simply because of the conditions in which they’re forced to exist, their sympathisers actually reduce Hamas’s leaders to the status of mere automatons devoid of free will. There is no justification for attacking civilians: not in international law, religious law, nor any basic code of ethics.
